Novi Sad 22-27 Art Festival STARFEST Leica Academy was invited to participated in the Art Festival STARFEST organised by the University of Novi Sad from 22 until 27 October 2007, on the subject `'A city and a river'. A special Workshop took place on photography, painting and design. The main target of the workshop was to offer students the chance to express their artistic skills and creativity and the professors to present their Faculty activities. Also, a one-day meeting was organised on the subject “Methods of teaching and Programs of Study for the art of photography.” Our school participated with Αnna Tagalou, Christina Kechagia, and Roula Moniaki, accompanied with their professor Apostolis Giagakis. They photographed the river Danube, they develop and they printed their own photographs and took part in the group exhibition which took place at the University of Novi Sad. Apart from Athens represented by Leica Academy, students participated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Belgrade, Bratislava, Sarajevo, Vienna, Novi Sad and from many other European cities. In the competition of photography from the 30 attendances, the first award was devoted to our student Anna Tagalou, and next October in the year 2008, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Novi Sad will host her individual photo exhibition in one of the famous galleries of the City of Novi Sad.
